Terms of Service
Last updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, IT and managed services, and online academy provided by SkillsBIT IT Solutions & Services Academy ("SkillsBIT", "we", "us"), a technology company operating from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and serving clients across the MENA region, Europe, and North America (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. About SkillsBIT
SkillsBIT provides enterprise IT solutions and managed services across cloud and infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and data & AI, and operates an online Academy offering bilingual (English and Arabic) courses and structured learning paths.
These Terms apply to all of these Services, whether you use them as a client, a partner, or a learner.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and enter into a binding agreement, or use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you register on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details (such as name, email, phone, and company) and for keeping your password confidential. We verify email addresses and may suspend or restrict accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk.
3. IT Services & Engagements
The scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for IT and managed-services engagements are set out in a separate written proposal or statement of work. Service descriptions and any figures shown on the website are for general information and do not form a binding offer until confirmed in writing.
We do not currently collect payments through the website; fees are agreed and invoiced under the applicable proposal.
4. The Academy
Enrolling in a course gives you a personal, non-transferable right to access that course's materials for your own learning. We offer courses and learning paths in English and Arabic and issue certificates on completion where indicated.
Enrolment is currently free to begin. If we introduce paid courses in the future, the applicable fees and any additional terms will be shown to you at the point of enrolment before you commit.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: attempt unauthorized access to the Services or to other users' accounts; disrupt, overload, or probe the platform; upload malicious code; copy or redistribute course materials; infringe the rights of others; or use the Services for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for violations.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, website content, course materials, the SkillsBIT name and logo, and related branding are owned by SkillsBIT or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written consent. Certificates issued by the Academy remain subject to these Terms.
7. Confidentiality
In the course of providing IT and managed services, each party may receive confidential information belonging to the other. Both parties agree to protect such information and use it only for the purposes of the engagement, as further detailed in the applicable proposal or a separate non-disclosure agreement.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting and email-delivery providers) and may link to third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any course, certificate, or training outcome guarantees a particular result or employment.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillsBIT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. For paid engagements, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant Service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Provisions concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed primarily by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where SkillsBIT is headquartered, and apply alongside our operations in the United Arab Emirates and the wider MENA region.
Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, unless mandatory local law applicable to you provides otherwise.
